WELDERS MEETING / JULY 19th 2009 / NOTES BY JACKI COOK
1. Spaghetti feed
2. Rose and pastor to take care of bread, sauce
3. Julia meatballs
4. Mashayla , pasta, drink
5. will be reimburse after the fundraiser.
6. Ask Monte II to make a signup sheet people who will be attending with price.
7. Set up: Saturday aug. 8th, table cloths, candles… something to that affect.
8. Mashayla and Rose to do set up
9. Rose to make the sauce and bread
10. Ask Yana to collect money at the door
11. James and girls will help clean up.
12. Put out a donation cup for additional donations
13. Meeting after potluck on Aug 2nd to plan calendar
14. Study meeting Aug 3rd at Jaclyn Cooks House at 6:30 unless Josh and Mashayla have a foster child and need to be at their house

4. $6 per person $3 for kids
5. Meatballs extra $.50
6. On a Sunday after church Aug. 9th
7. Josh and Mashayla will advertise
8. $20 left over from basket going to use this money to buy supplies
9. Josh and Mashayla will buy Spaghetti and sauce and drink
10. Julia will make meat balls she will buy the supplies for that and we will reimburse her for after the fundraiser is over

1. Welders to do a study with pastor Monte on the 1st Monday of every month @ 6:00 pm
2. 1st meeting on June first at Jaclyn Cook’s house
3. Will be going through a book by Tim and Beverley LaHaye called "spirit controlled family living"
4. Work the welders did this month...
o Provided a gift basket for one of Josh and Mashayla McGarys Oak Grove/Gladstone high kids (Brittany Radcliff) Her Mother suddenly passed away.
5. Possible change of location for church BBQ/Father day Picnic
6. Members have expressed desire to be baptized
7. Looking for a location that has a body of water
8. Elders to decide if baptism will occur and the BBQ/ fathers picnic
9. Welders would like to try and give a small gift to those who are baptized within our church body
Funds needed.
The Welders are in need of funds to do a lot of the hospitality outreach that we would like to do.

2. Asked to pray for the elders and the eldership
3. Stated by pastor Monte that the elders work as a board and no one elder is higher than another
4. Asked that if you have a concern as an elder’s wife to please go to pastor Monte with it
5. We are going to need to learn how we will work together and work out our own rhythm or routine
6. We need to choose and advocate among us who will keep pastor Monte up to date
7. If we want to do something new do this...
8. Go to pastor Monte. He will g to the elder board and then and elder will come to us and make it happen.
9. It was asked that an elder be present at all welder meetings. This was agreed to
10. It was also asked that at each meeting there be time set aside to pray together for the elders. This was also agreed to.
