WELDERS MEETING / MAY 17th 2009 / NOTES BY JACKI COOK

1. Welders to do a study with pastor Monte on the 1st Monday of every month @ 6:00 pm
2. 1st meeting on June first at Jaclyn Cook’s house
3. Will be going through a book by Tim and Beverley LaHaye called "spirit controlled family living"


4. Work the welders did this month...
o Provided a gift basket for one of Josh and Mashayla McGarys Oak Grove/Gladstone high kids (Brittany Radcliff) Her Mother suddenly passed away.


5. Possible change of location for church BBQ/Father day Picnic
6. Members have expressed desire to be baptized
7. Looking for a location that has a body of water
8. Elders to decide if baptism will occur and the BBQ/ fathers picnic
9. Welders would like to try and give a small gift to those who are baptized within our church body
Funds needed.


The Welders are in need of funds to do a lot of the hospitality outreach that we would like to do.

Calendar need for church bulletin board so church can see upcoming events

Elders to meet and discuss and decide on location of church retreat

Welder’s business meeting set for the 3rd Sunday of every month after church
Date move in June to the 14 because of father’s day on the 3rd Sunday


Hospitality ministry for those coming home for the hospital
After surgery, baby, illness, exct… Jaclyn Cook taking the lead on this
Ministry limited to church body only.

Jaclyn to make signup sheet for June 27th church BBQ/father day picnic
Church members will be asked to sign up to bring something and also bring a dish to share. Also to bring their own serving utensil.
